Foxhollow Farm, located in Crestwood, Ky., is a 4th generation family farm with woodlands, creeks, and rolling fields of grassland. Its mission is to create a thriving Biodynamic farm community, and they are dedicated to growing healthy food and strengthening the relationship between humans and nature. One way that Foxhollow Farm connects the community with nature is through integrating Louisville pure tap® into daily farm operations and by offering it at public events.
“We are so glad to be able to offer pure tap at our Sunset Concert Series and at our annual Fall Festival,” said Janey Newton, Vision Holder and 3rd Generation Steward of Foxhollow Farm. “It provides a wonderful alternative to single-use water bottles, which in turn, supports our mission of sustainability.”
Foxhollow Farm, at its core, is mission-driven. Everything they do is with the longevity of the land, and the planet, in mind. Foxhollow Farm’s vision is guided by Biodynamics and a desire to give back to the land what has been taken from it. From their composting system, to their emphasis on biodiversity, from their Partner Grower Program, to their push to make their farm buildings increasingly efficient and earth-friendly—sustainability informs all of their decisions that they make.
“It’s important to us as a sustainable farm, to reduce landfill waste as much as possible, and we do so by offering reusable bottles to fill up with Louisville pure tap® at our events,” said Jenn Smith, Community Engagement Manager of Foxhollow Farm. Learn more at www.Foxhollow.com.
