Hands-on science activities, the nation's oldest standing water tower and a glimpse behind the scenes at how they get the water they drink every day has brought over a hundred visitors to Louisville Water Tower Park every Wednesday this summer.
These visitors are participating in the city’s Cultural Pass program, which provides free access to 59 of greater Louisville’s arts and cultural institutions for children and young adults to age 21, as well as one guardian.
For Cultural Pass participants, Louisville Water Tower Park and its WaterWorks Museum offer free admission on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Cultural Pass materials are available at any Louisville Free Public Library branch. For more information, visit fundforthearts.org/culturalpass.
The program runs through August 11, but please note that Louisville Water Tower Park’s last Cultural Pass day of the summer will be Thurs., Aug. 8 instead of Wed., Aug. 7.
