Is Louisville Water testing near the crash site?
Yes. Louisville Water is part of the emergency response team. We are doing water quality sampling, inspecting the water mains, and checking fire hydrants in the impacted area.
Where is the impacted area?

There were several explosions. Were the water mains and fire hydrants in the area damaged?
No, they were not, but Louisville Water continues to monitor the situation.

No, it is not. Emergency response crews had an abundant supply of water to tackle this emergency.
