Louisville Water’s core mission is public health and protecting our systems from cyber threats is an ongoing priority to ensure quality and reliability.

We have a layered approach to cybersecurity that includes continuous monitoring, securing our technology, limiting remote access, employee training, and coordinating with water industry and government partners. Cybersecurity also includes protecting customer information.

Similar to how we approach other parts of our operations, we continually look for ways to improve our cybersecurity. We cannot compromise on maintaining safe drinking water and reliable service.
