Annual Water Quality Report

Louisville Water firmly believes that quality water is paramount to a quality of life.

Our commitment to producing and delivering high-quality drinking water began in 1860, the same year we began operations.

The property where the Louisville Water Tower stands proudly hosted groundbreaking filtration experiments in the late 1800s. Today, Louisville Water scientists perform more than 200 tests every day on the community’s drinking water. It is tested at the treatment plants, throughout the distribution system, and at many customer taps.

As a result of our work, Louisville Water has received many prestigious industry awards that place us as a leader in our region and beyond.

Louisville Pure Tap® meets the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) strict health standards. Every spring, we publish the Annual Water Quality Report to inform customers about testing results and the quality of their drinking water.
