Water and Fire Protection on the Way for Rural Community

Moving water uphill into a very remote area is a tough job. By summer, 37 homes in rural Bullitt County will have drinking water service and fire protection. This complex water main extension needed an enormous piece of equipment- a booster pumping station, to give the water an extra push. A creative mix of funding and engineering makes this project possible.
