Summer is coming to a close, and so is our Walking Wednesdays series for this season. Our last event takes place tomorrow September 1 at the Crescent Hill Reservoir & Gatehouse on Reservoir Avenue from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
As usual at the event, Louisville Water employees will be onsite to answer questions, offer insights into the history of this unique building, and make sure visitors stay hydrated with plenty of great-tasting Louisville Pure Tap™.
As an added feature, we will also have information on the Frankfort Avenue Main Replacement Project that started just a couple weeks ago. Community Relations Specialist Barbara Crow will be available for questions about the project and will provide information on the closures, detours, and timelines.
Can’t make it out Wednesday? Visitors can also view the exterior of the Gatehouse anytime — the walking path that surrounds the Crescent Hill Reservoir is open year-round from dawn until dusk.
