Louisville Water and the Kentucky/Tennessee Section of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) are accepting applications for the third annual $10,000 Dr. Rengao Song Scholarship, which is named for one of our top scientists. Now an industry icon, Dr. Song retired in October 2020 as the Director of Water Quality and Research after serving more than 20 years with the company.

- Must be a resident of Kentucky or Tennessee and enrolled in a graduate degree program in one of the states
- Must be enrolled full-time in a graduate degree program in biological or physical sciences, engineering, or other field related to drinking water science and technology
- Must have a minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.25 out of 4
The scholarship is awarded based on the value of the research and how it supports the improvement of the water quality and treatment in Kentucky and Tennessee. More information is available on the KY/TN Section AWWA website.
