Tapper tree shines at “Lights on Main”

Louisville Water’s mascot, Tapper, has taken on a whole new look for “Lights on Main” in downtown Louisville. A Christmas tree version of Tapper on display downtown hopes to get people into the holiday spirit. Lights on Main is an outdoor event that features over 50 uniquely decorated trees sponsored by area businesses.

Located on the steps of the Kentucky Center for the Arts, the event is free and open to the public from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. daily until December 27.

All sponsorship proceeds benefit “I Would Rather Be Reading,” a non-profit that is working to fund NTI learning hubs for local students. Food trucks and other vendors will also be on-site on the weekends.

Event goers will get to experience lots of different decorations, lights, garland, and ornaments – but only one Tapper tree!  Be sure to check him out and share your photos with us online!

You may also vote for the Tapper tree to be the event’s “Fan Favorite.”  Just tap here to vote and enter number 12 for Tapper.
