Visit Louisville Water Tower on Sun., Sept. 13

Want to see pieces of water mains more than 150 years old? Study a cross-section of a fire hydrant? Or explore a 100-foot-tall restored steam pump? Then buy a ticket to our Louisville Water Tower Open Day on Sun., Sept. 13!

This timed entry ticket includes a visit to the WaterWorks Museum and a guided tour of our property that sits on the banks of the Ohio River. The WaterWorks Museum, located in the west wing of the Original Pumping Station, highlights Louisville Water’s considerable archive of historic photographs (some dating back to 1860), films and memorabilia. The museum appeals to visitors of all ages, including children, with tower building activities, dress like a water company employee station, scavenger hunts, and much more. Visitors will also tour Pumping Station No. 3, which opened last fall for tours after an extensive two-year renovation.

General admission tickets are $5 and students/military/seniors are $3, plus booking fee. Please note that face coverings are required, and social distancing will be enforced.
