An elevated storage tank on Reamers Road near Pewee Valley is now the third tank to feature a Louisville Water logo.
About this tank:
- It was built in 1999.
- It was our first composite tank (a single concrete pedestal supporting a welded steel container).
- It holds a million gallons.
- The contractor performed full interior and exterior coatings replacement over the Fall of 2020 and Spring of 2021. Some rehabilitation work was performed on some of the non-structural metals as well.
- The Louisville Water logo was added this year.
The other tanks with Louisville Water logos are located near Westport Road and English Station Road in Middletown
