Louisville Water recently launched a free scavenger hunt adventure – the Louisville Water Journey – that takes participants all around the city, learning about the history of Louisville Water and all the different roles that water plays in our community. Participants of all ages are sharing their support, enthusiasm, and fun stories from their own journeys.
We’ve seen groups of friends, families large and small, and even couples on a date — all taking time to get outside, breath in some fresh air, and learn something new about water. Some seekers have even traveled from other cities in Kentucky and Southern Indiana to complete the hunt.
Below, we’ve compiled a few of their comments to share. If you haven’t already, get in on the fun and pick up a copy of the Louisville Water Journey today!
“…a great way for a newcomer, like me, to become more familiar with this city. Thank you for the adventure!”
“I was born in Louisville, but I had never been to several of the places on the hunt. And I definitely never knew how much of an impact the water company had on our community.”
“…great family time and made memories together.”
“…a delightful way to spend the day! It was very educational along with the challenge of finding all the answers. Grandkids had a lot of fun, and as adults, we enjoyed it as well.”
“My fiancé and I actually did this for her birthday. We had a fantastic time, and the hard copy of the book serves as a neat keepsake after the hunt is over.”
“Please make more hunts like this — we thoroughly enjoyed it!”
