Ever wonder how Louisville Water makes the best-tasting tap water in the nation? Visit the WaterWorks Museum at Louisville Water Tower Park and discover how we produce and deliver drinking water. There’s over 160 years of history and innovation that goes into every glass of Louisville Pure Tap® and we’re thirsty to share it with you.

Located inside Louisville Water’s original pumping stations, the WaterWorks Museum houses archives of historic photographs, films, and memorabilia, some of which date back to 1860.

There’s also an exhibit highlighting the company’s contribution to safe drinking water through innovations in science and engineering.

Plus, tour a giant steam engine and step inside the Louisville Water Tower, the nation’s oldest standing ornamental water tower.

Plan your visit to Louisville Water Tower Park for a field trip, group tour, or one of our WaterWorks Museum Open Days.
