Louisville Water has made it a mission to help area businesses and attractions install bottle-fill stations, so visitors have easy access to great-tasting Louisville Pure Tap™.
This Earth Month, and every month, we encourage locals and visitors alike to bring a reusable bottle when you’re on the go. Especially if you’re planning on visiting one of our partner locations featured here!
These organizations have all worked with Louisville Water to provide thirst-quenching bottle fill stations for their guests that help limit the staggering environmental impact of bottled water.
Simply by filling up with Pure Tap, visitors can save money, stay hydrated, and help protect the planet!
Louisville Water has helped install over 85 touchless bottle-fill stations at 16 unique partner locations across the city. And these organizations have already made a huge impact in helping protect our city and planet from single-use plastic bottle waste.
Together, we’ve saved millions of bottles from polluting landfills and oceans – and that number is constantly growing!
This concept of community partners helping to share Pure Tap and encourage healthy hydration has been a goal of Louisville Water’s outreach for decades. But the implementation of branded bottle-filling stations began in just 2015 with the University of Louisville. Students instantly fell in love with the increased access to free, refreshing water; in fact, U of L students are still some of Pure Tap’s most loyal fans! Now that love has spread across our city, with even more new partnerships on the horizon.
