Looking for something to do Saturday and Sunday? We got you covered at Louisville Water Tower Park.

Louisville Pure Tap 5k

First off — the family-friendly Louisville Pure Tap™ 5k will be held on Sat., Sept. 11, 2021 at 8:30 a.m.

The race follows a course that runs east and west on River Road, will be professionally chip timed, and all participants get a commemorative Pure Tap 5k neck buff.

The race is back for its 10th year, after being cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Runners, walkers, and kids of all ages are welcome.

Register online until tonight (Sept. 9) or in person at Louisville Water Tower Park on the morning of the race. The entry fee cost is $30. Those already registered may pick up their race packets on Fri., Sept. 10 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on the morning of the race beginning at 7:30 a.m. at Louisville Water Tower Park.

Take me to the Tower – & Gatehouse

On Sunday, come back to Louisville Water Tower Park for admission to the WaterWorks Museum and a guided tour of Pumping Station No. 3 with a restored 100-foot-tall steam pump. After learning all about the park, head just up the road to Reservoir Avenue to get a peek inside our beautiful Crescent Hill Gatehouse. Tours of Louisville Water Tower Park are available on the hour from 12 to 5 p.m. and tickets can be purchased ahead of time to secure your spot.
