Reaching out to contractors

Louisville Water was part of Louisville MSD’s eighth annual Can You Dig It? event, an outreach session at the Kentucky Center for African American Heritage. The event was designed to educate potential contractors, engineers, and goods and services providers about capital construction projects and other contract opportunities at the two organizations.

Louisville Water Vice President Tim Kraus talked to the audience about our projects. Procurement staff members and other employees met with many attendees to further explain opportunities to work with us.

“MSD invites us to participate in their annual Can You Dig It? event each year due to our One Water Partnership,” said Angelica Miller, Louisville Water Supplier Diversity/Procurement Assistant. She pointed out that the event “gives us the chance to do outreach and market our Small Business Equity Program.”
