A Special Donation for the Healing Place

Shenita Hutchings and Amanda Cannon, Louisville Water Customer Service Representatives, made a special delivery to the men’s campus of The Healing Place, which provides a nationally recognized substance abuse recovery program.

The employees made the donation in honor of Hutchings’ brother, Shawn, who is a peer mentor for the organization. The delivery included 50 backpacks filled with hygiene items the women collected to give to Healing Place clients.

“We are grateful to everyone who helped make this possible,” the Healing Place said on social media.
