Water Service for Large Events

This popular offering allows us to serve free, great-tasting water to hundreds of thousands of event guests! Using portable taps that connect directly to the water line, we can offer a flowing supply of chilled Louisville Pure Tap® for large public events and festivals.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Event must be located within the Louisville Water retail service area
• Event date must fall between April 1 – October 31.
• This service is geared towards large public events and is most appropriate for crowds of 1,000 – 10,000 people
• Single-day events only**
• Maximum event duration of 8 hours**
• A potable water source must be located within 100-feet of the proposed event site
• Daytime events will be given precedence over night/evening events
• Dedicated access to ice provided by the event may be required in some instances
• Request forms should be submitted by March 1 for priority review.  Any requests made after March 1 must be submitted at least four weeks before the event date, and will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis with limited availability

** If water service is requested for one day of a multi-day event OR for a portion of an event that is longer than 8 hours, Louisville Water must have guaranteed vehicle access to and from the setup location while the event is happening.
