Open Records Request

Requests to view or receive copies of Louisville Water public records subject to the Kentucky Open Records Act must be made in writing. Requests may be made online using the link below, by fax to (502) 569-0850, through United States Postal Service mail, or in person at the Louisville Water corporate office. Louisville Water shall comply with requirements of KRS 61.870-884 in administration of this policy.

The Vice President and General Counsel is the official records custodian of the Louisville Water.

Requests must include:

  1. Full name of person making the request
  2. Mailing address of person making the request
  3. A description of the record(s) being sought*
  4. Preferred method of contact

*The request should contain as much specific information as possible in order to allow Louisville Water to accurately identify any responsive record(s).
