Request a Hydrant Flow Test

Louisville Water maintains more than 25,000 fire hydrants in our area. We also perform an average of 200 hydrant flow tests per year for commercial customers. This verifies the water pressure and flow rate of the hydrants.

How do I request a hydrant flow test?

You must submit a form to request Louisville Water to test the water pressure/flow rate of the fire hydrant for your business. There is a $250 fee to perform the flow test, analyze the data, and certify the results. That fee is required before the application is processed.
