Louisville Water Tower Park has played host to iconic weekend music festivals, employee picnics, fundraising walks, family reunions, and more for over 30 years.

In addition to the magnificent river view, we offer:

  • 10-acre lawn with abundant space for tents, games, etc.
  • Convenient location right off of I-71 at Zorn Avenue
  • Ample free parking
  • Adjacent to the historic Louisville Water Tower – a perfect backdrop for group photos

Rental Information

An outdoor rental includes the East Lawn, West Lawn and Water Tower Plaza.

Rental Rates
Amount of People:

  • 499 and under : $500/day
  • 500-4999: $2,000/day
  • 5000 and above: $2,500/day

Rental Process

Rental agreements are processed on a first-received basis and available dates may be put on a 14-day hold without a down-payment. A signed contract and deposit is required by the end of the 14-day period to secure your date. Please keep in mind that Summer and Fall are busy seasons for outdoor events, so we encourage you to book your date as soon as possible.

After you date is secure, the following items must be submitted 30 days prior to the event:

  • Certificate of insurance, listing Louisville Water Company & Board of Water Works et al. as additional insureds (where applicable) for the following:
    • Automobile Liability Insurance – $1,000,000
    • Commercial General Liability Insurance – $5,000,000 (except for music events and events with a capacity exceeding 5,000 where such limit shall be no less than $10,000,000)
    • Workers’ Compensation Insurance – Statutory Limits
    • Employer’s Liability Insurance – $1,000,000 / $1,000,000 / $1,000,000
    • Liquor Liability Insurance – $2,000,000 per occurrence / $5,000,000 aggregate (only required if alcohol will be served)
    • Food Vendor Health Inspections
    • Copy of alcohol beverage license
    • Inclement Weather Plan
    • Tent Permit
    • Load In / Out Schedule
    • Event / Grounds Layout
    • List of all Vendors & Service Providers with Contact Information (food vendors, alcohol vendors, security providers, bouncy houses, sound, etc.)

Amenities

  • Free water service upon request
  • On-site staff person for the duration of your event
  • Open vendor policy

Vendor Requirements

There are no restrictions in choosing vendors for food, beverages, equipment, music, parking services, security, flowers, photography, etc. as long as they supply proper licensing and insurance.
