Cheers to 165

This year marks 165 years of Louisville Water.

In that time, Louisville Water has grown from 512 customers to nearly one million with 4,300 miles of water main.

Fortunately, the impressive history at Louisville Water is documented in annual reports, board letters, meeting notes, photographs, and more. Over the next few weeks, we’ll dive deeper into the archives and share some of the innovation that happened along the way.

We hope you will “toast” a glass of Louisville Pure Tap® with us on October 16.

If you’re interested in learning more about our story, visit the Louisville Water Tower and WaterWorks Museum on the second Sunday of the month for our community open date. We host guided tours of the company’s birthplace and offer time in the museum to see some of the artifacts up close.
