H2knOw: The Science of Louisville Pure Tap®

It’s easy to take clean, reliable drinking water for granted when you’re used to turning on the faucet and it’s flowing every single time. There’s a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes at Louisville Water for us to consistently produce and deliver safe, high-quality water. We’re involved every step of the way from the time we collect the water from our source, the Ohio River, to the treatment processes, distributing the water through our network of pipes, and maintaining our infrastructure.
