Bill credit on track to help families during pandemic

As part of Louisville Water’s continued effort to help customers during the pandemic, we’ve linked up with The Backside Learning Center at Churchill Downs to get the word out about our Metro COVID-19 Relief program.

The Backside Learning Center is an independent, non-profit organization that enriches the lives of equine workers and their families at Churchill Downs racetrack.

In addition to sponsoring a food bank, the learning center also provides educational opportunities and resources for the track workers’ children.

At the most recent food distribution, Louisville Water provided flyers to inform the track workers about the Metro COVID-19 Relief program.

The program offers eligible customers who live in Jefferson County a one-time credit of up to $500 on past-due balances, no matter their income.
