Clear the way for your meter reader

Temperatures are falling fast and so are the leaves! We want to remind you to clear the way for Louisville Water meter readers out and about in your neighborhood.

As you rake leaves and other yard debris out of your yard, clear them away from water meter lids. This simple step will help our meter readers so they don’t have to search for meter lids hidden under piles of leaves.

Once the leaves are raked and bagged, Metro Public Works is offering a free leaf drop-off service beginning on Nov. 5. The service will be offered through Nov. 30 except for Nov. 28 and Nov. 29 for Thanksgiving.

Louisville residents may drop off leaves at the following locations:

Public Works Yard
