It takes plenty of energy to be a Louisville City FC supporter — cheering, singing and rooting on some of our town’s finest athletes.
To keep that momentum going this year, the club and Louisville Water are launching a new co-branded bottle campaign reminding fans to stay hydrated.
The reusable bottles will be available to the first 1,000 attending LouCity’s Saturday, April 30, game against Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC.
And of course, fans are always allowed to bring their own empty, refillable bottle to home games at Lynn Family Stadium as part of an ongoing partnership with Louisville Water.
Fans can fill up with chilled Louisville Pure Tap® for free at stations throughout the stadium that have already saved more than 18,000 single-use plastic water bottles from going to landfills since the stadium opened in 2020.
“This co-branded reusable Louisville Water bottle is a perfect alignment with Lynn Family Stadium’s commitment to convenient hydration,” said James O’Connor, the club’s interim president. “We thank Louisville Water for providing another solution that minimizes the need for single-use plastic bottles.”
Join us on April 30, a date that coincides with the final day of Earth Month. Louisville Water will be celebrating the millions of plastic bottles partners across the city have helped save from polluting our planet through your support.
Gates open at 6:30 p.m. ahead of a 7:30 p.m. kickoff. So, grab a bottle and snap a selfie with Tapper, Louisville Water’s mascot.
If you can’t make it out April 30, no sweat! Louisville Water will be back at Lynn Family Stadium with Tapper and another round of bottles to give away at LouCity’s July 9 game against New York Red Bulls II.
Fans can always fill up at Pure Tap hydration stations located near sections 103, 110 and 119. There’s nothing like a refreshing sip of chilled Pure Tap as you cheer the boys in purple on to victory!
