Since the fall of 2016, Louisville Water Customer Service Representative Shenita Hutchings has been helping customers manage their accounts.
Before COVID-19, Shenita mainly helped customers over the phone. Now, she also helps customers who aren’t able to pay their bills online or those who speak English as a second language.
Shenita is very passionate about helping people. Last fall, she helped organize a back-to-school backpack drive for foster children at the Home of the Innocents, a trick-or-treat parade for toddlers and she collected bicycle helmets for “Bikes or Bust,” a holiday toy drive co-sponsored by Local 1683.
When she’s not working or volunteering, she enjoys shopping, walking in the park and spending time with her family.
