Louisville Water Gets an A+ for Water Quality

Louisville Water has released its annual water quality report, a publication the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires of every community water system. Every day, Louisville Water produces and delivers some of the highest-quality drinking water in the United States. Louisville Pure Tap® gets high marks for quality, taste, and value in Louisville Water’s 2023 Annual Water Quality Report.

Dr. Eric ZhuThe report highlights Louisville Water’s 2023 test results for EPA-regulated substances at treatment plants, within the distribution system, and at many customers’ taps. The report also outlines our water treatment process, the value of Louisville Pure Tap, and the important work we do to continue meeting EPA standards. Louisville Water met all EPA standards and, in many cases, our water quality is much better than the EPA requires.
