Louisville Water Tower reopens to visitors

We are pleased to announce that starting June 1, Louisville Water Tower will reopen for site visits, by appointment only with a limit of 10 people per group. Beginning June 29, Louisville Water Tower Park will be open for public and private events of 50 people or less.

The safety of our guests and employees is our top priority. Our guidelines and safety measures are based on Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Governor of Kentucky, and Mayor of the City of Louisville recommendations. Healthy at Work guidelines apply. These guidelines will be adjusted as regulations change.

Please see below for what you can expect during your site visit or event.

What you can expect from us:

  • Wash hands upon entering the venue and between interactions with guests
  • Must wipe down and disinfect all high-touch surfaces before, during, and after a site visit or event
  • Clean and disinfect tables and chairs used after the attendees depart
  • Make sure the venue is clean and sanitized before each event begins
  • Face mask always required when guests are present
  • Social distancing of 6 feet between attendees and staff
  • Keep a daily contact log
  • Utilize on-site temperature checks when available
  • Self-screen before coming into our building for any of the following new or worsening signs or symptoms of possible COVID-19

What you can expect from the venue:

  • Hand sanitizing station available upon entry to the reception
  • Separate entrance and exit doors
  • All doors propped open to prevent visitors from touching door handles
  • Regular and frequent cleaning and disinfection of high-touch surfaces with cleaning documented
  • Signage visible to remind attendees of best hygiene practices

What we expect from you:

  • Maintain at least 6-feet distance apart from other individuals not within the same party
  • Ensure proper spacing between attendees
    • Keep at least two empty seats between parties in any row
    • Alternate rows between attendees
  • No tables of more than six people
  • Wash or disinfect hands upon entering the venue and after any interaction with employees, other attendees or items in the venue
  • Consider wearing a face mask when not sitting at the table
  • Have a separate area for high-risk individuals
  • Face masks highly recommended
  • Social distancing of 6 feet throughout between attendees and staff
  • Hand sanitizing station available upon entry and exit
  • We strongly encourage any at-risk person to participate remotely
  • Self-screen before coming into our building for any of the following new or worsening signs or symptoms of possible COVID-19
