Riverport business group takes a tour

Barbara Crow, Louisville Water Community Relations Specialist, recently gave members of the Riverport Business Association a tour of Louisville Water facilities. They visited several sites, including the Crescent Hill Reservoir as well as Louisville Water Tower and its WaterWorks Museum.

The tour was initially planned about two years ago, but the pandemic delayed the visit until this year.

“It was part of getting back to normal and finally doing a promised field trip,” Crow said.

The Riverport Business Association funds the Louisville Metro Police Department and Emergency Medical Services substation in Riverport as well as the traffic lights at non-intersection areas on the Greenbelt Highway. The association also supports Operation Brightside and a range of other programs that improve the community.
