The WaterWorks Museum at Louisville Water Tower (3005 River Road) has begun its fifth year of operation. The museum, which has been closed for the season, is now open during the hours listed below.
Exhibits at the museum include photos, films, historical memorabilia and interactive displays that explain the history of Louisville’s great water. There are new exhibits for 2019 (such as a display that lets visitors see the inner workings of a fire hydrant) as well as new activities for children (including dressing up as a scientist or a member of a Louisville Water field crew and exploring the tools used by those professionals).
Hours:
- Wed. through Sat: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday: noon to 5 p.m.
Adults (Ages 18-59): $5
Youths (Ages 6-17): $3
Seniors (Ages 60+): $4
Children (5 and Under): FREE
