Louisville Water Crews repaired a 30-inch water main Wednesday in Crescent Hill.
The main, near the intersection of Arterburn and Crestmoor avenues, was installed in 1966.
Vice President of Communications and Marketing Kelley Dearing Smith said the repair follows a robotic inspection and is preventative maintenance to avoid a potential large-scale water main break.
“This new technology is important to Louisville Water to make sure customers have safe, reliable service. No one will lose water service during this repair,” Smith said.
