Louisville Pure Tap® Celebrates Smoketown Family Day

The summer heat didn’t stop the fun at Smoketown Family Day on June 24! Louisville Water was happy to help families and Louisville Metro Police quench their thirst at the annual neighborhood block party.

In fact, chilled Pure Tap was the only drink served. The healthy drink of choice fits perfectly with the mission of Smoketown Family Wellness Center, which celebrated its 5^th anniversary. The center aims to increase overall wellness for children and their families by establishing healthy lifestyles from a young age, providing access to healthier foods in Smoketown, and offering educational programs in a safe community environment.

Louisville Water handed out Tapper tattoos, bookmarks, and stickers to the kids. Adults learned information about detecting leaks and received a bright yellow tag to find and mark their shutoff valve.
