Gratitude on Tap for Pure Tap® at KY Craft Bash

volunteers at KY craft bashFrom the volunteers at the front gates to the Kentucky Craft Bash attendees and the other vendors, love for Louisville Pure Tap® flowed at Waterfront Park on Saturday.

Within 15 minutes of opening, dozens of people had already flocked to the Pure Tap tent to fill up their cups and reusable bottles with ice cold water.

It was refreshing to see everyone being smart about hydrating in between pours of craft beers especially on such a hot summer day. It was also refreshing to see countless guests show up with their own Pure Tap bottles. Everyone had a chance to show off their Pure Tap pride. Bottles were for sale, benefiting the Louisville Water Foundation.

The Kentucky Craft Bash is a favorite event for Louisville Water. Guest after guest thanks Louisville Water for being there and they always compliment the great taste. We get to know the attendees pretty quickly because they’re genuinely friendly and they tend to be repeat customers.

Some even share stories with us. One mentioned their friend in Columbus, Ohio said, “Isn’t Louisville supposed to have really good water?”. Yes, yes we do.

Tammy Redd at the KY Craft BashBut this next story made our mouths drop.

Tammy Redd plays with a Fortnite (game) group around the globe. While chatting with a friend in Katy, Texas, her friend mentioned needing bottled water. Redd quickly asked why she didn’t drink water out of the faucet. The friend said absolutely not because it’s horrible. Redd shared she always drinks Pure Tap because it’s refreshing. Redd didn’t stop there. She requested some reusable bottles from Louisville Water and filled a giant container with water. Redd said she wanted to deliver the real Pure Tap experience. And deliver she did. Redd mailed the care package to Texas.

She told us her friend was amazed at the water quality. She enjoyed it so much, she froze half of it to make ice cubes!

Redd says everyone should have great water like we do. We couldn’t agree more.

Cheers to high-quality water!
