UPDATE: Precautionary Boil Water Advisory *Lifted* Following Damage to Water Main

Louisville Water has lifted the precautionary boil water advisory issued after damage to a water main. The advisory impacted nearly 2,000 customers in eastern Jefferson County, east of Floyds Fork. Tests confirm the water quality is safe for customers to drink and use for all other purposes.

Affected customers should:

• Allow water to run for a few minutes from the water line on the refrigerator before drinking.
• Empty ice from an automatic dispenser and allow three cycles to run before consuming the ice.
