Our Commitment
Louisville Water is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible experience to everyone, including those with disabilities. Our goal is to provide a platform that is easily accessed and enjoyed. We actively work to increase accessibility and usability of our public website: LouisvilleWater.com, web-based applications, and other electronic communications.
Our goal is to deliver a web experience that conforms to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines v 2.1, levels A and AA.
Improving Accessibility
Louisville Water continually addresses known accessibility issues and verifies potential areas to fix. We conduct quarterly audits on our sites and develop a plan for necessary improvements. Some website content, specifically PDFs are not fully accessible. Based on priority, we convert these PDFs to webpages or correct them to the best possible extent.
Additionally, our staff works with outside agencies for accessibility training to ensure we follow the best practices.
