Water for Life festival offers splash of family fun

A family-friendly celebration of all things water will be held Sunday, Aug. 18 at the Big Four Lawn.

The Water for Life festival is open to the public and will offer a variety of unusual, interactive water-related activities including:

  • Toilet-themed cornhole
  • Water balloon launch with a giant slingshot
  • Sample beer from Apocalypse Brew Works made from reclaimed water
  • ‘Flush’ various items down the toilet to see how clogs form

The free event runs from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and is hosted by more than 25 community partners including Louisville Water, Louisville MSD and Kentucky Science Center.

We love water and of course we’ll be serving lots of chilled Louisville pure tap®.

Bring your friends and family to the Big Four Lawn and enjoy a splash of fun-filled learning.
