Louisville Water’s new hydration chart offers an easy way to tell if you’re maintaining a healthy level of hydration.
The chart below is featured in our educational outreach this summer, which includes summer camp programs with Louisville Water’s partners at the Louisville Zoo, the YMCA, LouCity FC, community centers, churches, and libraries.
Barbara Crow, the Louisville Water Community Relations Specialist who often presents the hydration programs, said she usually hears “a lot of giggles” when she gives the presentation to young children. Besides the chart, the presentation includes “talk about cramps, headaches, hunger, and tiredness also being possible signs that your body needs more water,” Crow said.
