Pure Tap® Fun at the Park

Alberta Jones Park readCloudy skies didn’t dampen the fun for children at Alberta O. Jones Park on Tuesday. The Parks Alliance continued their summer programming with “Alberta’s Eco-Kids Story Corner” in conjunction with Play Cousins Collective.

Last week, kids learned about the water cycle and this week, Louisville Water joined in with a special reading of Tapper’s Big Adventure: Where’s the Water?. Coolers of Louisville Pure Tap® kept the kids hydrated and Play Cousins continued the water theme with a seashell craft project.

Look for Louisville Water at the park on Saturday, July 13 for Alberta O. Jones Park Day. With temperatures climbing back into the upper 90s, it will be a great day to bring those reusable bottles and fill up with Pure Tap! The family friendly festival is free and includes music, kids’ activities, and food vendors.

Alberta Jones Park Day bannerOne of Louisville Water’s partners, Bernheim Forest, will host a pop-up play space where children can build forts and design their own games.

Join us for all the fun and be sure to stop by the Pure Tap tent for a refreshing drink.
